One of the most distinctive post-punk bands of recent years, London’s Dry Cleaning, are coming to INmusic Festival #18. Known for Florence Shaw’s deadpan spoken-word delivery, razor-sharp wit and taut, propulsive instrumentation, the band bring to Jarun an intelligent, slightly surreal take on modern life wrapped in hypnotic, rhythm-driven sound.
Formed in South London in 2017, Dry Cleaning comprise Florence Shaw (vocals), Tom Dowse (guitar), Lewis Maynard (bass) and Nick Buxton (drums). Rather than traditional singing, Shaw delivers her lyrics in a cool, almost sermon-like spoken style, while the band builds a minimalist yet tightly wound post-punk backdrop that echoes the spirit of acts such as Wire and Joy Division.
Following their early EPs “Sweet Princess” (2018) and “Boundary Road Snacks and Drinks” (2019), Dry Cleaning broke through to a wider audience with their acclaimed debut album “New Long Leg” (2021), produced by John Parish, earning widespread critical praise and multiple award nominations. Its successor “Stumpwork” (2022) further expanded their sonic palette and went on to win a Grammy Award for Best Recording Package in 2024. At the start of 2026, the band released their third studio album “Secret Love”, a record that further solidified their singular voice and standing on the contemporary scene.
Dry Cleaning join the already announced lineup for INmusic Festival #18 — an edition that also marks the festival’s 20th anniversary — alongside Gorillaz, Jack White, Kings of Leon, IDLES, The Flaming Lips, Manic Street Preachers, Jehnny Beth, Fat Dog, Sprints, KT Tunstall, Yonaka and many more artists to be announced.
INmusic Festival #18 will take place from 22 to 24 June 2026 at the Jarun islands in Zagreb. Three-day festival tickets are available via the official INmusic webshop for 139 EUR (+ transaction fees), while a limited number of single-day tickets are on sale for 99 EUR (+ transaction fees). Seven-day camping tickets are also available for 59 EUR (+ transaction fees) and are valid only with a three-day festival ticket.
