Omar Dahl will introduce INmusic Festival #18 audiences to a dance-driven electronic groove enriched with brass and string instruments and melodies inspired by Arabic and Balkan music.
The Belgian band Omar Dahl have been active since 2017, blending downtempo house with Eastern melodies into a distinctive sound. Their music moves fluidly between the organic and the electronic, where violin, saxophone and ney weave through pulsing grooves and hypnotic rhythms. Inspired by artists such as Kerala Dust and Altın Gün, Omar Dahl craft a sound that feels equally at home in hazy underground clubs as it does on sunlit festival stages. International performances — from Saudi Arabia to Mexico — have helped shape their global identity, bringing a recognisable mix of warmth, rhythm and atmosphere to every set.
In 2025, the band released their fourth EP “Traum” via the Berlin-based label Laut & Luise — an atmospheric record exploring the space between consciousness and dreams. Earlier releases arrived through Underyourskin (DE), WAYU Records (USA) and Global Hybrid Records (BE), while the band are currently working towards their debut album planned for 2027.
Omar Dahl will perform at INmusic Festival #18 as part of the European Talent Exchange (ETE) programme, a long-time INmusic partner that helps European artists perform at festivals across Europe and beyond. The band joins the lineup of INmusic Festival #18 — an edition that also marks 20 years of the festival — alongside Gorillaz, Jack White, Kings of Leon, IDLES, The Flaming Lips, Manic Street Preachers, Jehnny Beth, Fat Dog, Sprints, KT Tunstall, Yonaka, Dry Cleaning, Nusantara Beat, Any Young Mechanic and more.
INmusic Festival #18 will take place from 22 to 24 June 2026 at the Jarun islands in Zagreb. Three-day festival tickets are available via the official INmusic webshop for 139 EUR (+ transaction fees), while a limited number of single-day tickets are on sale for 99 EUR (+ transaction fees). Seven-day camping tickets are also available for 59 EUR (+ transaction fees) and are valid only with a three-day festival ticket.
